Though there has been so many changes in the world, human nature has remained the same. I would still say the human's need a third party because of their inability to think for the benefit of anyone else. I feel that my research in this time period has brought me to a point where I believe that human nature may never change from its current state of greed and selfishness. My time here has been limited since the beginning to make sure I'll survive long enough to make it to 12/21/2012 I must freeze myself again. But remember because of our human nature life is shot and brutal.

The Lessons Behind the Quotes
"Philosophies of leadership are determined by beliefs about human nature."
Our actions are based off of our human nature, our reactions to others actions are based off of human nature. So therefore as a leader you have to make decisions with the fact that peoples reactions are from their own human nature. So a leader will act so that the reactions he believes will result from human nature are positive. Everything in our world revolves around human nature, our reactions to others come from our human nature our greed for something we don't need is part of human nature. For example my favorite book Lord of the Flies Jack after leaving the original tribe he begins his own with him and his hunters. They hunt down a pig and then come to the other tribe, even though they could survive on their own to convince the others to join them. Though a leader does what the people want, he does this not for the people but for himself. This is because he has a greed for power and he will do what it takes to keep this power. Leader are no different than anyone else they will do what it takes to keep their position.
"The governed have a responsibility for their governance."
As humans we are capable to make our own decisions. A government is simply a structure that is created to keep order, a government is not created because we can't make our own decisions it's created to keep us ordered. This quote supports these ideas of government it says that the people should be the ones responsible for how they are governed. The idea is that people are able to make decisions that will befit everyone, but in reality I don't believe they could govern themselves if everyone is responsible for their governance because people are selfish and brutal. For example in Lord of the Flies the children were left on a island they began with not enough structure in their government, the lack of structure eventually lead to them turning against each other. This was because there was no leader that would tell them what they had to do they were mostly left to govern themselves. With the people being the ones who are responsible for governing themselves they will use this only to benefit themselves.
"Human Nature does not determine our actions,: it inclines us towards us certain actions."
Human nature is a part of everyone whether they think so or not there is something in them that compels them to do certain things. This quote says that they are not driven by this fact but just helped by the fact. For example a person may walk into a store to steal something but may stop and put it back. This quote would say that they put it back because their head outweighed their human nature. But truthfully I believe the person would have put it back because they have thought of the consequences. Their human nature is telling them not to so they can preserve themselves and not spend their time in jail. I believe the writer of this quote was on to something but got lost along the way saying that ones mind can outweigh their human nature.

From the Not so Real to the Real Deal
In the end of the book I just finished Lord of the Flies my friends believed that I may have found the ending a bit unsatisfying, but truthfully I found it accurate. Near the end when Jack's tribe is chasing Ralph Samn'Eric betray Ralph because they are willing to sacrifice him to save themselves just like anyone would have done. Jack is chasing Ralph because he knows that Ralph is in a way competition towards the position of overall leader. Jack greed for the overall power is what drives him to kill anyone in his way. Even Ralph shows a sign of his human nature by trying to fight back when someone finds him hiding from the savages. My friends though I would be very disappointed when the boys all suddenly stopped when they saw the officer, but I was not. I saw this as a very good example of what I've been saying. Jack most likely still want to kill Ralph because of his greed, but his selfish nature to preserve himself kept him from because of the consequences from the structure that they had for such a long time been apart from. But all in all the ending would have been how I would have ended it because it's realistic and makes sense.
The Lord of the Flies shows how a lack of structure leads towards a brutal and short existence, which is a result of a lack of control on human nature.
The results that came from the lost boys was not a journey of caring for each other because they felt it was the right thing to do but because they could benefit from it. I wish that humans could care for each other and genuinely care for each others well being just because they care about each other. But human nature doesn't work that way. People will may appear to care for others but in the end they are just looking to benefit from the situation. Like some of the possible ideas that might of gone through the Sudanese boys heads are "if I help him he owes me one","The more people less chance I'll be shot if we're seen". The thoughts that may have gone through their head may have been evil human nature is a brutal thing. The selfish instinct to use anything that may help you to survive must have obviously played a large role that may have changed the outcome of this horrific event for the better. In the end of this event maybe it was because of their human nature they survived and if they were caring and not selfish then maybe less of them may have survived.

When My Ideas Cross Into Your Life
You may wonder what I'm basing all these statements off. Through my experiences I've seen many examples that have helped me create my theory on human nature. These range from Elaborate schemes to steal something from someone to simply giving a gift and using it later as if they owe you. I will share with you in this post a few examples of ways that I've seen this demonstrated.
In this article here it tells you how to rescue a drowning person because when this person is in a state of panic them not knowing what to do their human nature kicks in. The human nature thinks of self preservation. The person will attempt to use a rescuer as a object to elevate themselves out of the water to save themselves. The human nature is very obvious here the person is going from what they know instead of what they have been taught to save themselves even if it means sacrificing others.
In the article linked here it says that the shoppers looking for a sale that may save them money are willing to do whatever it takes to get inside that building to save maybe $20. Those people know what they want and their nature tells them not to let anything get in their way to stop them from getting that thing. These are the reasons that a third party must exist because if those savings had been given to the third party none of those buyers would have had such a brutal force to fight their way past anything.
In the bible King David being high powered one day saw a woman bathing and he wanted this woman. His human nature told him that he should do what he needs to to get this woman. To get to this woman he had her husband killed so that he could have her to himself. He was willing to do anything just so that he could have what he wanted.

I am the Real Thomas Hobbes
I Thomas Hobbes am a philosopher. I have dedicated my time to studying human nature. Over the time I have been studying human nature. I began in the 17th Century and then disappeared and had myself frozen for a experiment so I could view the changes of human nature over time.
You may be wondering what I mean by human nature. Human nature is the instinct of "default settings" for the way people function. From my research it's shown that people in a state of nature were essentials are scarce those people will think only for their own survival and are willing to do what ever it takes to come out on top.
In a world where there is imbalance and a struggle for the scarcities you must find a way to remove that temptation. Using a third party you can have one party have the job to simply control us and keep us in line. Though the third party is human and may desire more and become corrupt the chaos without a third party would far exceed in severity of the issue.
The "social contract" is the core of keeping structure. The social contract says that for security you have to give away some of your freedom. So in the social contract the third party takes away your freedom to fight for the scarcities and therefore less fighting means you will be safer and then gives you better security. The social contract is not there because people want it it's there because the nature of humans makes it mandatory to keep people safe.
